The Forfar SCT & TCT Curl Fest has come to end and it was great to see a senior men’s semi and a men’s semi emerging from the Schenckel sections.
One semi-final was contested between Mike Dick’s rink and Keith Prentice’s rink with Team Dick winning through to the final game.
The other semi final was between Team Barr & Team Fawns with Grant Barr’s young rink edging the game meaning the final game was between Team Barr and Team Dick.
Team Barr got off to a strong start and never looked back to lift the trophy.
Many thanks to all teams who participated in a very successful event. For this first time points were secured for The Scottish Curling tour and The Over 50’s Caledonian Tour.
The SCT now moves on to Dumfries International while the next TCT event will be the Edinburgh International.
