Our curling coaches help people participating in our sports to work towards achieving their full potential. They support all standards of sportspeople, sports teams, community teams or school groups, working with them closely to improve performance. In particular they enjoy working with people who have never tried the sports before through Come & Try sessions.
Our curling coaches bring out ability by identifying needs and planning and implementing suitable training programmes. Whatever the context, coaching involves developing the participants’ physical and psychological fitness and providing the best possible practical conditions in order to maximise their chances of performing to the best of their ability.
All our coaches combine coaching with their full-time jobs. The coaches volunteer part time and are unpaid, offering their coaching services on a purely voluntary basis. Their dedication to the sport is greatly appreciated.
We are always keen to recruit new coaches willing to work towards securing the National Sporting bodies recognised coaching qualifications.
