On behalf of Coupar Angus & Kettins Curling Club l would like to formally thank you and your team for hosting our 275th anniversary bonspiel on Saturday.

We wanted to provide a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where everyone could enjoy our bonspiel on quality ice followed by a good lunch.
With you and your teams help, I believe we achieved our goal as evidenced from the amount of positive feedback received from our guests both at the bonspiel and later evening dinner. Also from the number of subsequent messages, expressing how much they’d enjoyed the the whole days events.

Your teams support and attention to detail made the bonspiel extra special, which was greatly appreciated by all our members and particularly by myself personally.

Very many thanks to all for such a great session we had on Wednesday. Everyone had a really great time and we were all very impressed with the wonderful set-up you have at Forfar. We were really spoilt having three such enthusiastic and helpful coaches for the 13 of us. That’s rubbed off on the group and all are now interested, to some extent, in curling. Our nice lunch afterwards rounded off the whole experience perfectly.

The corporate package was good and we all felt it was good value for money. Everyone seemed to have enjoyed it and definitely seem to have a better understanding of the game and what’s involved. A quick message to say how much we enjoyed the Grand match at Forfar. It was a great occasion; run  with charm & humour by you & your team. We were lucky to play against Suttieside 1 as they were a lovely local team & we all got on very well, despite losing! The catering was excellent ; please thank the staff. Super main course & delicious cakes. I think that we were the luckiest group coming to Forfar. Not every ice rink got excellent credits!

Mike, just getting over the disappointment of losing in the semi but despite that it was a great weekend. Best ice I think we’ve ever curled on & McLaren’s bridies kept us athletes fueled throughout the weekend. The 2 best teams made the final, always a good sign. Congratulations to Team McCleary on winning again.

First of all I wish to thank you for a fantastic competition this weekend, we were made very welcome and enjoyed every minute of the competition. We came along to the ice skating on Sunday afternoon and had a ball. The staff I must add were most friendly and the hot chocolate was to die for. We will definitely be back next time we are down staying at the caravan site.
